MooLikes Winter Edition

Hey everyone, I've been waiting to do this post for quite a while but no more waiting, it's finally here!!! Spring started a week ago which I can't wait till the end of, even though I love the colourful Spring trends, all the flower blooming, warmer weather,etc...but Spring is exam season, so.. ef it :(. To celebrate the change of  season, I'm going to do a Moolikes Winter edition :)
The first category is clothing which will include a top, an outerwear,a bottom, a footwear, and accessories :)

I know this isn't exactly a top but it's what I wore most often through out the winter. I absolutely love this dress, got it from Savation Army which is an opshop in Palmy for $4! But I think it's $20-$25 in Kmart. It's a nautical-ish white and navy blue dress, comes down to just above my knee and it's made up of thick stretchy material which was perfect for winter.

Granny Jerseys, well that's what I call them. This is a navy blue (I love my navy) slightly baggy, thick and warm cardigan that I stole from Mum. Super duper cosy and it's my absolute stable winter item to wear over dresses because they keep me nice and warm :)

Ok, I lived in tights (stockings) during the winter. Because jeans just look stupid on me (I have thunder thighs) so dresses do a great job at hiding my legs but it's way to cold to wear just a dress in winter so I would always put come tights underneath to stop my legs from freezing :) I get my tights from Kmart for $11 for 3 pairs :). (Sorry there's no photo, tights are pretty boring)

For shoes, I've been wearing these grey canvas non-stop during winter. They're comfy to walk in and pretty much go with everything :). I got these ones for $6 from Kmart :)

Favourite accessory for winter got to be scarves. Scarves keeping my neck warm yet really make an outfit looks finished I think. This is a grey infinity scarf for $5 from Rubi :)

Secondly, it's beauty products :)

For hair care, I've been loving Schwarzkopf Ultimate Repair and Gloss leave-in Treatment. I use this after I wash my hair which is every second day and it really hydrated and nourished my hair during the cold winter. For skincare, I really enjoyed roseship oil from Trilogy. I get really dry skin on my jaw, forehead an around my eyes, especially in winter. So I put some of this on those areas before bed and it made my skin really soft and hydrated the next morning :)

Nail polish! I'm not a very big nail polish person but I really like the L.A Colours Nail Lacquer in Sheer Bliss. It's a pearly white with pink shimmers which looks nice, subtle and pretty on my nails :) I think this was $3 from the Makeup Sale in the Arena earlier this year.

For makeup, this winter I haven't really love any of my makeup and I didn't want to include them in just for the sake of it. So sorry :\

Thirdly, it's my hair style like, on my first hair day I've been loving putting my hair up in a neat bun when it's still slightly wet then get these amazing waves later in the day :) For my second day I've been loving messy top knot bun because it gets the greasy hair out of my face while giving me a few extra centimetres :)

Lastly it's non-beauty likes

-Colour likes: Navy blue all the way for the winter :)

- My food likes. I've been loving the battered fried banana that Mum always make, I know sounds strange and unhealthy and all but it's a real comfort food for me especially before and during mocks :). For drinks I've been loving milk coffee, not just any coffee with milk but coffee with CONDENSED MILK. It's again very unhealthy but omg it tastes amazing :)

- Song likes are Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift and recently No Name and First Kiss by Ryan O'Shaughnessy.

-Peeps Likes : Ryan O'Shaughnessy!!! OMG you have to look him up on youtube, hewas in Britains Got talent where he performed a song he wrote which was so beautiful and he's so cute and OMG!! Just look him up and you'll know what I mean :) And the Pixiwoo sisters, Sam and Nic, they do amazing make up tutorials on youtube, they're both gorgeous and funny and nice. Definitely check them out as well :)

-Quote likes : I'm a real quote person but the one I kept reminding my self all winter especially closer to mocks is 'The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time'. This quote helps me to calm down and focus on the present rather than the future and not to plan too ahead. :)

-Movie likes: Bridesmaid is soo funny and Magic Mike, even though I haven't seen it because I'm under age, but I know I will :)

SUP I'M BACK !!!

Hey peeps !!! I just had my last mock this afternoon so now I'm officially back :D :D :D. Hows everyone ??? You have no idea how many time I itched to write a quick blog during the passed excruciating 10 days of studying and studying. And NO FACEBOOK OR BLOG, pure torture. So during that time, once in a while I would jot down some blog ideas that I can write about and I can promise you quite a few posts in the near future. This is an "I'm extremely glad to be back" post and I think I might share with you guys a few "dramatic" things happened to me :)

First is the Thursday just before study leave, OMFG, that day all the Year 11 History students are supposed to go on a history trip to a museum. I'm a year 11, I take History and I paid for the trip, but guess what happen !! I effing missed it. Bloody hell !!! Because on the instruction sheet we got, the meet up time at school is 07:45, I was soo dumb and thought that 7:45 is when school starts, so the bus leave at the same time as the school start. BUT NO, school flippin starts at 8:45!!! I AM SO STUPID!! So at 8, I got like 5 texts from my friends asking where I was, I looked at the time on my phone and only THEN realized that 7:45 is an hour before school start. I rushed to school, it's 8:05 and yep, I missed the f***ing bus. So I had to go to school that day, lonering my way from class to class since most of my friend take History as well. Moral of this story, dont be a dumbshit like me, if you have a certain time you need to be at somewhere, make sure you know exactly WHEN that time is :)

Secondly, this is not exactly dramatic but you know how I was talking about this certain guy in my previous posts, yea I don't think I like him that much any more :P, I think he isn't quite as "good" as I thought. Speaking of him, after exams me, Kayla (Miss K), Rosie and Marie went to town for a little retail therapy, guess who was there, yup, him. So I cooly went into a store near by, waiting for him to go pass, 'cause you know, it's awkward. Then stupid Kayla, decided to attract some attention by dragging me out of the store to got to Whitcoulls, bullshit, she headed straight for him, so of course I ran back to the store once I knew!! He SAW us!!! It's so embarrassing, I still have to meet him at work!!! Stupid Kayla!! Ruining my life!! :D :D

But, whatever, crushes are just little weights to train for the heart :).

Thirdly, exams are so bloody stressful I think I stayed up to about 2:00am for more than half of the study leave, amd these were only practice ones, wonder what I'd be like in the real one :(  :(

Lastly, this is kind of like an announcement, I kind of knew this earlier but it's only confirmed recently. We're moving to Perth, Australia next year. I'm really sad about leaving but Dad got a new job there so he's going on Monday, then the me, my sister and Mum are going over in the middle of January next year :(. Anyway I'll write about this a bit more in another post :) Here's a photo of Perth :)

Yup so this has been my dramatic post/update on my life :) hope you guys like it :) I'm really happy to be back :)

Mock Exams :(

Hey guys, I have my Mocks coming up in a week, so from now till the 8th of September, I will not be able to do any post, because I really want to focus on my exams. I do apologize.

Chatty Wednesday

Hello everyone, I'm here with another blah blah blah post, I don't know why but I actually really enjoy doing these kind of posts. I feel like they help me to get things out of my head, help me stay motivated (because you're more likely to do things if you write them down, there's a tip for you guys), and also it's kind of improving my English. So YAY for chatty posts, and I'm sorry if you don't like these as much as my hair and make up post, I promise I'll do a Prom hair and make up post this weekend since I'm helping Becca getting ready for the Boys High ball this Saturday :D
Let's start off with something slightly funny. On Sunday morning, I was at home doing my homework, the phone rang, so I picked up the phone, didn't think much at all, and said "Good evening Bangkok Thai". The person (turned out it was my sister's friend) was like "...what ?!!??" only then I finally realized what I just said so I quickly said "oh sorry hey hi.. Hello!" OMG what an idiot!! Later I told my sister and all my friend yea they all cracked up laughing. Moral of the story, if you work too much and you're a complete retard like me you're 99.9% likely to do what I did :)

Next is something I just need to get off my chest. People that ruin my days. I'm not the type of person to be affected by unlucky things that happen to me like accidentally spill paint, forgot my umbrella when it's pouring outside or drop my phone,...But my moods are depended on the people around me. If they're happy then I'm happy, if they're being nasty to me, I keep that at heart (which is really bad I know) and have a terrible day. Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate anyone, because I think hate is such a strong negative thing for a person to feel towards another person, I just simply find them annoying, like human pet peeves if you like. I'm not going to name any names because that is just sad but I'm going to say what hey all have in common that annoys the sh*t out of me. 

1. They think they're better then me.

2. Don't listen to me at all.

3. Very judgemental to me. 

So many times I tried to crack a joke or tell them something that I find funny and all they give this "ew...wtf" look as I'm STILL telling them. It's like they're dead on set to judge whatever I have to say before I actually said it so no matter how funny the joke is, they're going to find something weird from it and think that I'm f*cked up in the head, then they'll go and tell everyone how I'm so gay. Next, the people who is obviously wrong but they don't listen when I try to tell them then they blame me for not telling them. And also the people who thinks that they are so much better than me and are constantly trying to prove that by always always go against whatever I say, and whenever I ask someone else a question, they'll butt in and try to be a freaking smartass. 

Those just make me feel so put off and uncomfortable and I just automatically have a negative feel about them. So I just find them very annoying/extremely unpleasant to be around. 

Now let's end on a happy note. I want to share with you guys my favourite video of the week, actually a few weeks now. This video is called 'Being Happy' by a Louise who does beauty videos on youtube. I absolutely love her, she is really pretty, unique, bubbly, down to earth and super duper funny. This video really helped me to stay positive and stay happy so I thought I'd share with you guys. And please go and subscribe to her channel because her videos are AWESOME!!

HAUL TIME :)

Hey guys I'm here with a haul for you all, it's not everything I bought but just the things I thought would be interesting to show you :).

These are part of the Typo pen line that everyone seem to own. They're just normal black ink pen with a cap but the thing that make them so popular where I live is the cover. I got a black and white triangles, baby pink with polka dots and pastel blue with a vintage white floral pattern. I absolutely love them because they're just so much fun to write with and the quality is pretty good as well. The only thing I don't like is that right where I  hold the pen, there's this funny ridges that I think are for holding the lid onto the pen, but it dig into my finger which is quite uncomfortable. These were NZ$2.95 each but I got them on sale 5 for $5.

This is the ELF Night2day eyeshadow quad I got from Bling for $5 which I think wasn't too bad considering how much use I can get out of this. The four colours are a shimmery of-white, a dark bungundy red, a matte grey and a bronzy gold colour with loads of shimmer, The quad also came with a tiny mirror and a sponge tip applicator. I'll be sure to do a tutorial on this quad sometimes in the future.

I wanted a non-waterproof mascara for daily use because my Maybelline one is waterproof and it's sooo hard to take off and I always end up pulling a few lashes out which is terrible because I don't have much lashes at all. So I got the Rimmel Glam'eyes Lash Flirt mascara I got form Postie for $8. This mascara has a very flexible plastic wand which I like better than the normal brush wand.  

Then I got the Nivea Matifying Gel Cream because my Body shop moisturiser ran out. This only $9.79 from the supermarket which is so much cheaper than my Body Shop one. And also I get quite oily skin so this is a good choice for me.

Next up is the Skinlite Make-up Cleansing Tissue for $3 from K-mart. I got this because it's cheap, smells great (I love lavender) and it does the job.

This is a blush from a Japanese brand I think called La Pensee (please correct me if I'm wrong). When you swirl all the colour together it creates a really pretty coral colour which I really like. I got this at a garage sale for $2, it was still in the package sealed so I didn't really care that it's second hand.

Last but not least I got a Maybelline Eyestudio Natural Impact quad in 05 Glamour Browns. This was an absolute bargain in my opinion, I got it for $2 because the darkest brown sort of broke which I didn't really care because it was still usable. All of the browns has a lot of shimmer in them which I really like. This is a great pallete for everyday neutral or night out make up.

Willy Nilly Weekend :)

Hey guys, this is another miscellaneous blogpost of all the exciting things happened so far this weekend, right now it's 2:30pm of Sunday so I doubt I'll do much more except for studying :\
SO I had work on Friday night, nothing much happened except for witnessing my co-worker yelling at the newest girl, I feel sorry for her :( :( :( I absolutely dislike my co-worker, when the restaurant isn't too busy she's fine-ish but under pressure, she's a b****. Thank god my Dad knows her so she didn't yell at me as much when I first started. Let's hope she never read this or I'm screwed. 
Saturday morning was interesting. Me and Brittany were going to go to The Recycle Boutique which is a local pre-loved clothings and accessories store, they have amazing clothes for pretty good prices, to take come photos of Brittany trying on clothes for my Art Folio. Unfortunately when I rang them before we go, they said I need to ask their manager on Monday for permission. DAMN. So we ended up watching a few videos of Jenna Marble (OMG she's soo hilarious!! I love her new video on sport bra!!) then walking to town to have lunch. I swear EVERYONE decided to go to town as well, we saw like a zillion groups of 'hipsters', 'skuxx', 'sl*ts' (you get the general idea) MO TO THE FO!! Then work was all right, because the scary co-worker wasn't there :) And Marie's Mum with Shane and some other people came in the restaurant, then my friend Amiya and her family went in as well which was nice :) But after work was GREAT :D, the guy I like was being nice all night already and then he opened the door for me when we were going home. Me being an idiot I am didn't know he opened the door for me so I stood there for like 3 seconds then finally realized what he was doing. ARGHH WAY TO GO MOOSH FOR MAKING IT AWKWARD AS HELL !!!! But it was still kinda cute, so YAY :D Again, let's hope certain people don't read this :)
This morning, me and my sister went to see STEP UP REVOLUTION in 3D. I was great but wasn't as great as the other 3 Step Up movies. I'll do a detail review on that soon. Then we had lunch at Wabi Sabi which is a Japanese Restaurant, that was nice :).
So yea, that's pretty much it. For the rest of my sunday, I plan to stay in my room and study, BORING!!
